Lake Lure is still rebuilding after the hurricane, but businesses are open and full of character. This place has gorgeous mountain views all around, with nearby hikes that are jaw-dropping. There’s also a covered real wood fireplace and a grill. The owners are incredibly sweet and passionate, and one is a trained chef who makes breakfast by hand. It was amazing. Our room was spotless, and even though bugs can be common in the mountains, we didn’t see any. One of the best experiences I’ve had. Skip the hotel and stay here!

We started our mountain vacation at this clean, quiet, beautiful lodge, and it was so relaxing. Breakfast was a 12 out of 10, and everything else about our stay was just as good. Richard was such a nice guy. Thanks for the hospitality, we’ll definitely be back!

You feel like part of the family while you’re here, and the folks make you feel that way over breakfast, too. It’s the best breakfast. Don’t miss this five-star B&B. Thanks for the memories, we’ll be back.

Kim was kind and kept in touch so well. I got the parking details, room code, and address before arriving, which made checking in easy while I was in Bat Cave volunteering. The room was lovely and comfortable, with great AC, a handy fridge, a clean bathroom and a really good shower. That bed was so comfortable, and the pillows were fabulous. We had to leave early and missed breakfast, but still got hot coffee and amazing homemade cookies. We felt safe and looked after. I only wish we’d stayed longer to enjoy breakfast, the grounds, and the area.

Chef Richard makes an amazing breakfast, so don't miss it. The owners were easy to deal with from start to finish. Our room felt like home and was very clean, with a great mattress and good quality bedding. The bathroom had two sinks and a large shower. Brent and Carol
