We’ve stayed twice. The house is in a beautiful resort on a private lake, so there’s plenty to do while still feeling secluded. My kids love rowing out and exploring. The house is a little dated, but it hasn’t affected our stay. Just keep in mind that the stairs are really steep. If you have trouble with stairs, getting to the basement or second floor could be uncomfortable.

The owners are really nice. The place is inside Rumbling Bald and has its own little lake, shared by just a few houses.
