Courtyard by Marriott Orlando Lake Mary/North

The standout for me was the team. Lisette and Jeff were especially welcoming and helpful, and the other staff members whose names I didn't catch deserve thanks as well. Everyone was friendly and efficient, which made the stay smooth. The Courtyard in Lake Mary was clean and well cared for throughout, from the lobby and hallways to the rooms. I felt comfortable and relaxed here. If you're looking for clean rooms and great customer service in Lake Mary, I highly recommend this hotel.

The mattress was very comfortable, and the staff were welcoming. Though it's an older hotel, it was very clean, and the airport was convenient to get to. I'd definitely return. My room was humid and smelled damp. Running a diffuser for hours barely helped, the light fixtures were rusting, and the towels felt damp too. Something seems wrong with the air conditioning and needs fixing. Doors slammed through the night, so I didn't sleep well, though that was more down to inconsiderate guests than the hotel.

We were in town for a soccer showcase, and the location worked well for getting to the fields. We had no choice about the hotel because the tournament dictated where we stayed. Over our three nights, nobody serviced the room. We asked at least for fresh towels and trash pickup since my son had several games and showers, and we were eating meals in the room. They left a couple of towels on the counter but didn't take the used ones from the floor or empty the trash. The room also smelled of mildew, and the carpets were dirty.

The staff were nice, but the property is very dated, and this was the worst Courtyard I've stayed at. The room smelled strongly of mildew and mold. I tried to move, but the hotel was full, and my request to have the carpets cleaned went nowhere. The bed was old and lumpy, though it was clean. The tub was flaking apart, the shower leaked, and the AC dripped water onto the floor. Everything else in the area was booked, or I would have left.
