Four Seasons Racquet & Country Club

We spent four nights here and housekeeping never came to our room. The keys hardly worked, and the phone and alarm clock were both out of order. The website is completely misleading. The cigar and whisky bar was closed despite being listed as open online, and there isn't a restaurant, just bar food that wasn't that good. We won't be back.

Some staff were friendly, while others were dismissive. At checkout they didn't ask how the stay went, and the guest behind us had plenty to complain about too. We were charged $12 a day in resort fees even though none of the resort amenities were available. For what we paid for a weekend at the Regalia, the experience was disappointing. The hallway smelled like weed. The room was spacious, but the floors felt slippery, the patio door had no lock beyond a piece of wood, and there was no fridge, only a wine fridge. The bathroom door didn't lock and the TVs didn't work. We tried the pools in the evening, but the outdoor one closed early both nights, and the indoor pool was closed and out of order. The hotel bar was closed too. The next morning, the website's listed breakfast buffet turned out to be $10 per person for a lukewarm meal that was below par. The gym had flooded. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The rooms are roomy and the pool looked nice, but the vending machines didn't work. Wi-Fi never connected, and water pressure was poor. You have to wait a long time between showers for the water to warm up again.

The outside pool was the best thing there, and it was nice. The rest of the hotel looked abandoned and badly run down, like it might have been a decent place years ago before they let it go. The pictures are very deceptive. There was no indoor pool, and the cigar bar was closed. No one was ever at the front desk, and our keys didn't work. They told us to try about ten times and turn the handle slowly, which made getting into the room a hassle. I'd never stay here again, even for free. You're better off at a Motel 6.
