Prince of Wales Motel

The sheets had stains and holes, the towels were badly marked, the shower was dirty, and roaches were all over the place. I couldn’t get a refund, so I finally left because I couldn’t stand being in that room. Check-in was a mess too. They sent me to the Budget Inn first, then the rude Indian lady sent me back to Prince of Wales to pay. The key she gave me wouldn’t work. I had to return to her twice before she opened the door herself, and then she insisted the door had been open and the key worked when it hadn’t. Do not go there.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The sheets were stained, there was no hot water, and at 9 a.m. someone knocked to ask if I was leaving, even though my receipt clearly said checkout was 11. She told me I had to be out by 10. The woman at check-in was super rude too.

I went in before Valentine’s Day to ask about booking a room, but the woman didn’t understand what I was trying to say. I wasted my time trying to make the reservation. If you’re renting out rooms, you should have someone who speaks English.

I paid $400 for a week and got a tiny room. The cable box wouldn’t turn on, and the Wi-Fi was too weak to connect. Overnight, the air conditioner cover above the bed fell on us. They wouldn’t move us to another room or give any refund. They seem to prefer cash, so you can’t dispute the charge with your bank. I learned my lesson. There were roaches behind the dressers too.
