Candlewood Suites Lakeville I-35 by IHG

From housekeeping and maintenance to the front desk, the whole staff was outstanding. Keelia and Yussuf helped with my many stay extensions and made me feel valued. Keelia also suggested places to visit in Minneapolis and other hotel locations in Fargo, North Dakota. Seeing her smile and enthusiasm each morning was a treat. Thank you both, and bravo. I stayed here from 6.30.2025 to 7.6.2025 while exploring Minnesota and Minneapolis, and found the Candlewood Suites convenient to Interstate 35. The rooms were spacious and clean, with hot showers. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the Twin Cities area.

The lobby, gym, and laundry spaces were clean and well maintained, and our rooms were clean with comfortable beds. One room had weak shower pressure, while the other was fine. The staff were helpful and friendly. It’s close to the freeway without the noise, and there’s a nice little patio and convenience store. Free coffee to go was a lifesaver.

A housekeeper opened our door with a key card without knocking. I have kids, so that made me feel unsafe. He apologized repeatedly and said he had the wrong room. We didn’t tell the manager since we know mistakes can happen, but I hope he doesn’t do it again. The room itself seemed new and was very nice. Cleanliness was just okay: we found hairs, a dirty pot, and utensils left in the dishwasher. Laundry is free and self-service.

A better choice than the hotel across the street. Ideal for truck drivers.
