The front desk staff were lovely, and the hot breakfast had a decent range of fresh things. Still, I wouldn't stay again because that bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, with a rock-hard mattress and wafer-thin pillows. Renovations were underway and seemed nearly done. Our first room's A/C was broken, so they moved us to one down the hall, but its tile floor wasn't cleaned properly. It looked like a dog had left a trail of poop, which was unsettling. The stay wasn't all bad, but the bed made the decision for me.

The waffle bar was easily the best part. You could add sprinkles, chocolate chips, syrup, whipped cream, and about anything a kid could want, and it was the one way to get reliably hot, fresh food. I won't stay here again. Renovations were everywhere, and I was surprised they were still open. The gym, which I relied on and which their website advertises, was unavailable, along with everything else. Breakfast remained free, but the cups were dusty from construction, and the hot food was cold. It looked like they had shifted it all into a random room that used to be a conference room, which made me worry about food safety. The cups looked like they'd come from an Italian ice shop. My window looked out on a dumpster. When we arrived, the entry floor was being worked on, with bumps between the newly laid tile pieces. It wasn't ADA accessible, our suitcases wouldn't roll over it, and I felt for anyone using a wheelchair. The front desk said renovations had been going on since March 2025. We stayed in December 2025. I saw nobody the first night, then left early the next night after lying awake for two hours. The bed was uncomfortable, the room temperature was hard to manage, and the couple next door was having a very loud lovely time. The walls were paper thin, even with my earplugs in. I don't understand why guests were put so close together in an empty hotel. I was extremely disappointed and would have preferred they close during renovations.

The room was okay and had recently been renovated, though work was still going on elsewhere in the hotel. I gave it four stars because several electrical things didn't work: many of our outlets and some room lights were out. The staff were accommodating.

The front desk clerk was helpful and got us what we asked for, which was a bright spot. The rest of this place was terrible. We booked for this past weekend and should've checked the reviews first. The landscaping is so overgrown that trees hide the property, which might be a good thing. It reeks of Pine-Sol, and the carpets are filthy. Our room seemed renovated, but the layout made no sense, with lots of empty space, one movable chair, and a wall TV that wouldn't swivel. Ants were in the bathroom and by the sink near the suite's front door. We'll never stay at this location again.
