Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Langdon

The team at Cobblestone Inn, Langdon was friendly and helpful, and Gina’s warmth and attention to detail made us feel welcome. A big thanks to Gina and everyone there. Good people really made our stay.

I expected clean rooms and quality from this chain, but the service here went beyond that. As far as I know, it’s the only local hotel late at night, with Devils Lake, over 70 miles away, being the next closest. The third shift gentleman working Nov 16-17, 2024 made check-in quick since I was tired and only needed a few hours of sleep before leaving. He was there at checkout too, and was pleasant both times. I wish I could remember his name. Amazing service, and I was pleasantly surprised.

We stayed at Cobblestone Inn & Suites for a family reunion and had a good time. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and a decent amount of space. It had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and safe, and the strong air conditioner was a real plus in the heat. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, muffins, toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, and coffee, tea, milk, and juice. My only complaint is that there’s no pool. With one, it would have been perfect.

I came back two months later for three nights. The place is still comfortable, and I’d recommend it for the reasons mentioned in my earlier review, but I’m taking off a star because housekeeping skipped my room on the third day. I’d left a cash tip and a thank-you note the day before, so I was especially disappointed. I was out from 10 AM to 7 PM, and when I returned the bed was unmade, the towels were used, and the garbage bins were full. I told the front desk, and they apologized and brought fresh towels. The staff are welcoming and courteous, and the rooms are clean and comfortable when serviced. I requested a ground-floor room because there’s no elevator. I also asked them to remove the safe’s $1.50 daily charge, which they were happy to do. The little snack shop is appreciated. Breakfast is all right, though the breakfast area needs more seating.
