Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lantana by IHG

Everyone from check-in through checkout was approachable and helpful, which was the highlight for us. The room was very clean and well kept. The TV didn’t work very well, but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Breakfast was good, hot, and had plenty of choices. There are several places to eat within a few miles, along with a Publix grocery store. We’d definitely stay again if we’re in the area.

The room was bland and dated, and it wasn’t worth the hassle with the staff. As a Gold Elite member, I asked for a late checkout, which normally isn’t a problem unless the hotel is truly sold out. The front desk agent gave me attitude and said they were fully booked, but multiple rooms were available online at the time. She called my room ten minutes later just to repeat the refusal. Then later that morning, at 11:15, they opened the door and asked us to leave early. I rarely write reviews, good or bad, unless a stay is exceptionally good or bad. This one was the latter. Stay somewhere else. Plenty of hotels know how to treat guests with basic respect and appreciate loyal members.

Tierrah made my stay memorable, and I’ll be coming back to this Holiday Inn Express & Suites and recommending it to friends, family, and colleagues. She checked in on me throughout the stay, handled requests efficiently and with care, helped with directions, suggested local spots, and brought a lot of positive energy to the lobby. At check-in she was warm and professional, greeted me with a smile, got me settled quickly, and explained the amenities and nearby attractions in detail. She made me feel like a valued guest. It’s rare to find someone who does the job so well while also bringing real enthusiasm and charm. Holiday Inn Express & Suites is lucky to have her. Thanks, Tierrah, for making the stay comfortable.

I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Express several times over the years, and this was the best one by far because of the front desk staff, especially Kia. This was my second time staying while she was on shift. She’s friendly, professional, pleasant, and helpful, always with a smile.
