Hampton Inn & Suites Las Cruces I-10

Traveling across the country with my cat, I was glad to have this comfortable, conveniently located place to stop. The shower was a little awkward because one of its doors was missing. Breakfast came out earlier than the stated time, and there was a very good selection.

Gina at the front desk made us feel welcome with her warm smile and genuine hospitality. She was professional and kind, and even suggested a local restaurant that became one of the highlights of our trip. My wife and I had a clean, comfortable stay at the Hampton Inn in Las Cruces, New Mexico, just what we wanted after a long day on the road. Staff who care about the guest experience make a difference. We’ll choose this Hampton Inn again when we’re back in Las Cruces, and I highly recommend it.

We found a bed bug in one of the beds in our second-floor room and checked out immediately. We’d arrived around 1 AM, and had already been moved once because the floors and toilet in the original room were dirty. We showed management photos and video of the bug, but they said they’d hired professionals who found no evidence. The manager never called me to discuss it, and after several follow-up emails, she said they wouldn’t help. My sister had bites on her face, neck, and back. Google wouldn’t let me post the video of the bug crawling on the bed. We had to detail our car, wash everything at a laundromat, and take extra precautions to keep an infestation out of our home. Hilton won’t help you. Learn from our mistake and don’t stay here. Why risk it? Edit 12/31: I sent the manager the information she asked for, then heard nothing despite following up several times. Check-in was a real nice change. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and cheerful. We’ve stayed at quite a few Hampton Inns, and this will be our choice when we’re in the area. It’s conveniently right by the 10 fwy, with shops, food, Walmart, and dispensaries nearby if that’s your thing. A++ and a five-star experience all around.
