We left early and told the babysitter she didn't need to stay the night after all. We'd been looking forward for weeks to a special staycation at the Bellagio, but the service was so rude. Everyone we spoke with seemed annoyed. Our room was the last straw: we paid for a king but got a queen. That alone wasn't a huge deal, but there was a used floss pick less than a foot from the bed, hair on nearly all the bath towels, and long black hair in the shower. We left before taking pictures. We're Vegas residents and enjoy coming to the Strip when we get the chance. This was meant to be a nice evening for my wife and me, and it was a huge disappointment. Save your money or stay somewhere nicer on the Strip.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, with floral displays that change by season, is one of the property's many things to see. There are also upscale restaurants, luxury shops, and a large casino with slots, table games, and high-limit areas. The resort's scale brings gaming, entertainment, and hospitality together in one place, much like big luxury resorts in Macau and Monaco. The fountain show outside is a memorable sight, and the interior has a grand lobby, elegant décor, and art installations that give it a classic luxury feel. On the Las Vegas Strip, along Las Vegas Boulevard, the Bellagio has long been a landmark and a standard-setter for luxury resorts. Service generally felt polished and professional, in keeping with the brand.

Charlotte at the front desk and the other staff we met made our stay especially nice. We also enjoyed the breakfast brunch, which had a good range of vegetarian and pescetarian choices. We stayed one night in a deluxe fountain view room with two double beds. It was large, clean, and airy, with a great view and no Strip noise coming in. The bathroom was huge, and the toiletries and towels were good quality. The bed was okay, though I'm a fussy sleeper. We had a very good stay and I'd recommend it.

As a first-time visitor to Las Vegas, I couldn't have asked for a better stay. The spa tower room was luxurious and quiet, even though I was on a middle floor and had worried about nighttime noise. Housekeeping respected the DND sign, and my view toward Interstate 15 and the Rio hotel gave me amazing sunsets. The main casino floor has so much to do that you could stay busy there alone. The front desk team were attentive and helped me with all sorts of things to make the vacation work out. Parking was great and seemed to fit just about any vehicle, including my rental Ram 2500, which I was upgraded to from an F-150. I'll definitely return when I'm back in Las Vegas.

The location keeps bringing me back for business trips. It's right in the middle of the Strip, handy for meetings and dinners, and connected to Vdara, Cosmopolitan, and Caesars Palace, so getting between hotels is easy. The hotel itself is stunning, and the restaurants are fantastic. I've stayed here several times for the convenience. As a Marriott Platinum member, I used the fast-track check-in line, which was a real plus. Without it, expect a 30-45 minute wait, since lots of people ask for upgrades or early check-in. The staff were friendly and helpful, and offered bottled water after my travels. My room was spacious and had a fountain view, but it lacked a few touches I'd expect at this level: no toothbrush or mouthwash, wall-mounted shampoo and toiletries, no tea or coffee setup, and, surprisingly, no water bottle in the room for a Platinum member. I enjoy staying here, but the rooms at the Wynn feel more luxurious to me. The Wynn is farther up the Strip, though, which is why I still choose Bellagio for its central spot.
