Hilton Grand Vacations Club Flamingo Las Vegas

The location was a real plus, just a block from the strip near Flamingo Casino, and parking was free, although traffic gets congested in the evening. The property is dated but pleasant, and not up to the standard of newer Las Vegas places. Some outlets and USB ports didn’t work. There’s even a whirlpool tub almost in the middle of the room, which we didn’t try. This is more of a vacation rental than a typical hotel, with limited service. During our week there, the room was cleaned once; they’d bring extra towels if asked, but my request for a second cleaning was refused. The lobby sales pitch for Hilton Grand vacations was the oddest part. They promised $200.00 in meal credits for restaurants anywhere in Las Vegas, but the credits only worked at a small number of local places. A free 3-day/2-night stay was presented as if it could be at any Hilton Grand Vacations location, but it was limited to a few properties. They also offered a free Uber ride that never came. We went to the presentation, which was an incredibly hard sell, and didn’t buy anything.

What made the stay seamless and stress-free was the care Gretel Damas gave to my requests. She was gracious and kind, treated me like a valued guest, and seemed to anticipate what I needed. Her professionalism and attention to detail were impressive, and her commitment to guest satisfaction reflects well on the brand. The property also has a lot going for it. Though it’s close to Flamingo casino and the high-energy attractions, the HGV resort felt like a private sanctuary in the middle of the Strip. The suite was spacious, very clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen that made it feel like home. Tropical landscaping and a lovely pool offered a break from the desert heat, while the atmosphere stayed calm, welcoming, and more refined than the frantic pace at many Strip hotels. For a show, convention, or poolside downtime, the location and staff make this a strong choice. Gretel Damas deserves special thanks.

The sphere and high roller are right next door, and Bellagio, the Venetian, Caesars Palace, and the Strip are all about a five-minute walk away. For all that, the room was spacious and really quiet. It’s a low-key place, very comfortable and convenient if you’re coming to enjoy Las Vegas. It felt like home, and I’ll definitely stay here again on future trips.

Crystal at the cafe by the front lobby was the best of the best. We went in every morning for coffee, which was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and she was so personable and fun to chat with. I felt like I’d known her for years from the moment I walked in. Every staff member went above and beyond, and the room was perfect too. We stayed two nights and weren’t disappointed at all. Thank you for such a great experience. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
