Comfort Suites Laurel Lakes

Christmas really came through for me when my truck wouldn’t start. I’m visiting from New Hampshire for work and don’t know the area. She first tried the hotel’s jump pack, then checked whether she had cables in her own car. We stayed out in the cold rain trying to get the truck going, and she was kind, professional, and genuinely caring the whole time. It turned out the battery was completely dead. My sales manager arrived and helped us try a few more things, and Christmas even offered us complimentary breakfast before we left. I later realized she’s the top manager here, which made the effort even more impressive. The service during my stay had already been great, but she made a stressful morning feel manageable and showed me she had my back.

The staff, pool, hot tub, and food options were all great. My husband and I came for a weekend, liked it so much that we brought the kids the next weekend, and we’re planning to visit again in about a month. It’s a nice little escape, with lots to do and see and plenty of shopping nearby. Great for couples too. lol lol

Even during a very busy Preakness weekend, the front desk staff handled situations with courtesy and empathy. The general manager is a strong leader, and you can tell she’s built a really good culture at this hotel. Daniella deserves a shout out too. The hotel is very clean. It’s right beside a great Community Park with a walking path around a small lake, and a couple of restaurants are within walking distance. Highly recommend!!!

I was looking for a safe place for the night, and they let me check in early, which I appreciated. My first room was cold, but they moved me without any fuss. The front desk woman and the housekeeping staff were both very kind. There are lots of food options close by.
