We arrived after traveling all day and in the dark. Dot at the front desk was a delight. She checked us in and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. She also shared helpful information about places to eat, things to see, and the town’s history. The room was warm, and the bed was soft. We’ll come back to visit again.

The location was convenient and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room at Econo Lodge Laurel was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I stayed from Friday, February 6, 2026, to Saturday, February 7, 2026, and had a very pleasant time. Highly recommended.

Room 103 had a mold spot about a foot across on the shower ceiling. When the people above us showered, water started dripping heavily into our bathroom. We demanded another room and got room 110, which smelled like smoke. It took two remotes to get the TV working. I don’t think there was breakfast, and if there was, we wouldn’t have tried it. Dirty, old motel. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

The place is really clean, and they take pride in that. But the reason I keep coming back is the woman at the front, I think her name is Dottie or Dot. She’s friendly and informative, and makes me feel right at home. I drive an hour and ten minutes to work, even though I could find somewhere closer and a little cheaper, because of the way she treats me. I don’t see her as often as I’d like, maybe she works part-time, but it’s always a pleasure when she’s there. I hope you get her on your visit. The others don’t have the same warmth. Thanks for all you do. I’ll be back.

The room was clean and a good price for an unplanned stop while traveling. I couldn’t find the entrance in the dark, coming from behind the other hotels while some of the parking lot was being paved. I called, and Ms. Dot talked me through it. She was great.
