Comfort Inn & Suites Lawrence - University Area

The only change I’d suggest is getting rid of the fragrance used in the lobby and on the linens. It smelled nice, but it really aggravated my migraines. Otherwise, the room was tidy, and the heating and cooling worked well without much noise. The staff seemed to enjoy being there and were friendly and helpful. Stanley clearly runs a tight ship while looking out for guests and staff. We had a nice chat over breakfast, and he was very friendly and enthusiastic. If you need a place in Lawrence, Kansas, this is it.

Stanley was so kind to me, a mom traveling alone with two kids. He made check-in quick and easy, then helped me get my exhausted toddler and four-month-old to the room. The room was perfect, and the morning staff helped me get breakfast. This was easily my best hotel stay so far.

It was our first time visiting the state and staying at this hotel, and Stanley made us feel so welcome. He showed us around, answered all our questions, and was incredibly friendly and helpful. Great customer service. I wish I could give more than five stars.

John at the desk patiently sorted out a booking mistake I’d made, and the staff were all delightfully friendly and helpful. In the morning, I especially enjoyed meeting Stanley, who cooks breakfast five days a week. His courtesy and customer service were the best I’ve ever experienced. The bed was very comfortable and the room quiet, though it was a little worn around the edges. The bathroom grout was stained and the overhead vent was falling apart. Even so, we had a good night.
