Days Inn by Wyndham Lawton

On the second night, a Tuesday, the lounge music was still going at 10:30 PM, and people were fighting outside. The TV channels kept cutting out every five minutes or so. The advertised pool was green and gross, even though a guy was painting around it. At check-in, the desk guy put three of us in a one-bed room despite my reservation for two beds. When we went back, he acted like he hadn’t realized. The walls were filthy, the bathroom looked decent but I didn’t feel comfortable showering there, and the beds were awful. Monday night hadn’t been terrible, but I had to endure one more night of this. I only needed two nights, and I won’t stay at another Days Inn.

04/17/2026, My family traveled all the way from Florida to see our loved one graduate from Army boot camp. The rooms fell far short of what we expected. There were blood stains on the sheets, the TVs didn’t work, and trash was piled up in the parking lot. Breakfast was barely anything, just cereal, coffee, and fruit. The pool water was green, and on our last night we had to kill numerous roaches in the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend this Days Inn to anyone, not even a homeless person.

The karaoke bar kept the walls vibrating with loud music until 2am on a Tuesday, so my work crew and I couldn’t sleep before then. The staff seemed not to care at all. We travel every week and haven’t encountered this kind of disregard for basic courtesy before.

The ceiling leaked, the bathtub wouldn’t hold water, and the TV signal was unreliable. WiFi came and went too. The place was clean enough, but the area at this end felt a little sketchy. It seems like this might count as mid-range in Lawton, so there are probably worse options.
