Blackstone Lodge & Suites

Went out with friends for the weekend and had a very good stay. Our room was clean, the beds were made up nicely, and everything was ready for us. Service wasn’t always immediate, but it was great, and the workers were friendly and answered our questions. I live near Rapid and really enjoyed the weekend. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting.

Jothi was really friendly and helpful, and we had a great time overall. The continental breakfast was great, though water was hard to find since the sink was the only source. I was also disappointed that the waterpark shown on Google wasn’t there. The hot tubs smelled a bit, but they were still fun.

The low price made sense once we saw the state of the room. In room 315, the white towels had brown marks and red lipstick stains, and the tub drained poorly and left a film when the water ran. Within two minutes of arriving, I spotted a clearly visible wrapped mint beside the bed, along with other bits of dirt in a room that hadn’t been vacuumed. There was also a noticeable smell throughout the hotel. We slept in our clothes. I hope they improve things, but I won’t stay there again.

We arrived to stay on September 27, 2025 and waited about ten minutes before anyone came to the desk. After we got the key, the front desk person walked with us to the room, saying they wanted to check that cleaning was finished. This was after 9 PM. The room still had food paper and dirt on the floor. They apologized and said someone would come vacuum, so while we waited, we looked around. It was dusty and dirty everywhere: hair in the bed, dust on the desk, TV and floor lamp, and so much behind the lamp that a finger left a trail. The tub drain was covered with hair, hiding the holes, and the toilet seat was dirty. We went downstairs right away to ask for our money back and were told we had to go through Expedia. Expedia couldn’t reach the manager that night. The next day, they emailed to say the manager refused a refund. All three hot tubs also had milky white water so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. I’d think twice before staying here.
