The owner seems to have moved on, and the problems aren’t being fixed with the occasional nice touch. It used to feel romantic, but it seems the pride in the place has faded. The owner is selling, and it’s a shame the units are still being rented out. The sauna only reaches 150 at most, and even that reading may be off because its thermometer isn’t calibrated. The hot tubs were warm, but the water chemistry seems poorly balanced. Turning on the bubbles made the off-gassing burn my eyes. The emergency shutoff buttons were covered with zip lock bags. They provide coffee for one person and charge $5 for extra pods, and there’s no bath mat.

The residential area felt safe, and downtown Leavenworth was an easy ten-minute walk, about three blocks away. The room was great, with a comfy bed. The jacuzzi is in an outdoor gazebo, and they provide robes so you can cover up between your swimsuit and the cold. Or follow the Finnish way: use the sauna, then run outside. We were very happy with our stay.

The room was great, and the hot tubs were clean and private, though they need some maintenance or an upgrade. Coffee was only provided for one morning, which was disappointing. The area felt a little strange, but it was quiet and clean. With a few tweaks, this place could be great.

It was a cozy little retreat, close enough to Front Street to be convenient but far enough away to escape the noise. Our room had a great dry sauna. The hot tub was nice too, though you had to go outside to get to it.
