Holiday Inn Express and Suites Lebanon

Connie, the breakfast lady, is the sweetest person I've ever met. My son was obsessed with her. She's so kind and always has a moment to chat while keeping the breakfast fully stocked. The rest of the team was amazing too, from mama and papa, the rockstar cleaning crew duo, to everyone at the front desk. They were more than accommodating whenever we needed something. 10/10, would recommend ❤️

There was construction on the floor above us, and nobody told me about it. When my sister complained, the manager blamed everyone else. The price was ridiculous, more than I've paid for actual suites. I travel a lot, and only stayed because there wasn't a Marriott in town. I'll never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

For a one-night visit, the small room was comfortable, and the bedding was clean with comfortable beds. The staff at the front desk, kitchen, and housekeeping were all pleasant and kind. Water was hot and the pressure was good, though we were on the first floor, which may have helped. Breakfast was free and available from 6 to 9 on a weekday. There was a pancake machine, bread, oatmeal cups, scrambled eggs, pork sausage, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and a juice machine. Coffee and hot water were available around the clock. There's also a pool and gym on site, but I didn't look at either during our visit. Housekeeping could have been more thorough. One hand towel in our room wasn't clean, and the shower drain area needed more attention because there was pink biofilm. The bathroom showed some wear too: the ceiling was crackly, and the bathtub shower knob was no longer sealed to the wall, leaving a hole and obvious damage marks. Nothing seemed dangerous, just unsightly. Parking could use a little more space, though that's probably not something they can fix. The location is okay, easy to reach from the highway and near some restaurants.

I've stayed at dozens of Holiday Inn Express hotels, and this one didn't come close to the level of stay I expect. In our King suite, the heat would bring the room up to temperature, then the AC would blow ice cold. The entryway floor felt unstable and bounced as we walked in, with several cracked tiles. The repaired bathtub crackled underfoot when I showered, and it felt like my foot could go through at any moment. The King bed had Queen sized blankets. A young man preparing breakfast was called away to handle something, then went back to the food without washing his hands. There's a lot of room for improvement.
