Check-in was quick, and the woman at the desk was friendly and helpful. We were in town for an event over the weekend. The room hadn’t been cleaned well: there was hair on the floor and trash still in the bin when we arrived. We didn’t complain since it was late, and we were out all day the next day, but housekeeping never came to make the bed or bring fresh towels. Breakfast was pretty good, and the area was clean.

The room was spotless, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Check-in went smoothly, everyone was polite and professional and knew about our event, and the manager made sure the room was clean and ready. My organization had booked the weekend stay for an event at Lake Eustis. The bad part happened at breakfast. My wife was approached rudely and loudly chastised by the young woman managing the food area for having a “pet” near the food. Other guests could hear. I travel with a certified service dog, and this was disrespectful and showed a lack of understanding of service animal rules. Under the ADA, Title III, Section 36.302(c), service dogs can accompany their handlers in public areas of a facility, including places where food is served. Florida Statutes §413.08 also gives people with service animals the same access rights as other members of the public. Staff may ask only whether the dog is required because of a disability and what work or task it has been trained to perform. They can’t demand documentation, exclude the dog from food areas, or treat the handler disrespectfully. I strongly urge Hampton management to retrain staff on federal and state service animal laws so this doesn’t happen again. Service dogs aren’t pets. They’re essential, legally protected working partners. What happened was unacceptable, and I hope the staff have since received proper education and corrective action.

Tiffany at the front desk gave amazing customer service. The rooms are big, and the bathroom is huge. I did notice a smell like 🚬 in a couple of places, including the elevator and entrance. The kitchen was running low on orange juice and milk.

Manager Mia always greeted me cheerfully whenever I passed the front desk. Gwen was helpful and very pleasant too. The staff were super friendly and responsive.
