The only thing I’d complain about, and I do like to complain, is that the GPS address link sends you to the hotel next door. They know about it, so give a qualified IT tech a double latte and a private office and get it fixed. Knowing that, I’ll be back. The room was clean enough to wear socks around, spacious to the point where a courtesy flush was almost unnecessary, and the staff were friendly. I even ate breakfast both days, which I rarely do after throwing out what I don’t finish on day one.

Breakfast was nasty, and the tables in the eating area were being held steady with napkins shoved under their legs. The room showed signs of neglect too: dirty mirrors and vents, stains from the heating and cooling unit on the bathroom counter, and no shampoo in the shower bottle, which I only discovered after getting in to wash my hair. At checkout after one night, I told the desk person and got a “Sorry.” Hilton is slipping. I won’t go back and may let my Hilton Honors membership go.

The Hampton worked out well for our weekend family event in a nearby town. Staff and management were A+, and helped us deal with an unfortunate vehicle problem during the visit. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The staff were great, but seemed unsure about which rooms were available. Our room had no hot water and very weak shower pressure. They told us to let the water run for ten minutes because we were at the far side of the building. We were offered another room, but when I went to look, the bed was unmade and towels were in the tub, so we stayed where we were.

We were disappointed with the group events team when we tried to arrange a wedding room block. I’ve never stayed at this location, so this review isn’t about the rooms or hotel itself. We know it as a pleasant place to stay in downtown Leesburg, but I wouldn’t recommend it for group reservations.
