Hotel Burg

I photographed a retreat at Hotel Burg and was taken with the place right away. The design is beautiful, the light throughout is incredible, and every corner feels carefully styled. I was there for a retreat, but it was easy to picture wedding parties staying, getting ready, and spending time together here before the celebration. The mood is relaxed, stylish, and intimate, a lovely fit for that kind of weekend. For weddings in the area, Hotel Burg could be a great place for the wedding party to stay or get ready.

The restaurants here were on another level. The food was creative, distinctive, and absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every meal. My wife and I were impressed by the whole operation, from the beautiful room to staff who were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. We can't wait to come back.

We upgraded to a rooftop suite for a quick romantic getaway, and it was worth the extra cost. The room was lovely, especially the private balcony with its gas fireplace and cozy seating. The bathroom was a highlight too, with a big soaking tub and an enclosed shower, a nice refuge from the winter cold. The hotel is ideally placed for exploring the charming little town of Leesburg. We ate in town rather than at the hotel. Easily the best lodging option in Leesburg's little historic district, and good value for the money.

Bella helped us arrive early and arranged rides to and from Stone Tower Winery, which made our stay even better. We loved the rooftop suite, and breakfast at the Diana Lounge was outstanding. The Bloody Marys were the best we've ever had, fresh and delicious, and our server was a sweetheart. The hotel is beautifully appointed. My husband and I had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!
