The 12 p.m. checkout was a nice touch, and Jim Thorpe is only about a 15-minute drive away. Our renovated third-floor room was roomy, clean, and quiet, with hardly any highway noise despite the road being right outside. The pool opens at 6 a.m. and stays open until midnight, though the water was freezing. The hot tub was just right. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly both times we checked in and out. I also liked the free cookies. Breakfast was included, but the choices were pretty limited.

We felt welcome all week, thanks to how kind the staff were. Alecia at the front desk deserves a special mention for being so friendly. Our room stayed tidy, and we didn't run into a single problem. A really clean, fantastic hotel.

We slept so well, and staying here made our visit to the area even better. The newly redone room looked great, from the floors and walls to the carpet, which still had that new smell. Linda at the front desk was such a pleasant, friendly person. Thanks, Linda.

We were here overnight so the kids could go snow tubing at Blue Mountain, about 20 minutes away. The spot is right off the highway and close to PJ Welihans. Check-in was easy, and our room was clean and spacious. The indoor pool and fitness room are open from 6 a.m. to midnight. Breakfast had lots of good options. DEBBIE IS A SUPERHERO IN DISGUISE💖💖

The breakfast was the letdown. It was the same eggs and sausage each day, with oatmeal and muffins in packets. By 8:45 a.m. the bread, bagels, and yogurt were gone, the coffee and water were barely warm, and the only fruit I saw was a few apples and oranges. The hotel itself was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the staff were attentive and helpful. It's right by major highways, though, so traffic noise carries through the day and night. The service and cleanliness were great, but I'd bring earplugs and eat breakfast elsewhere.
