The location made this feel like a welcoming, authentic place to stay, especially if you're visiting from out of town. It also felt like much better value than an average hotel chain, with more comfort and a warmer experience. The rooms each have their own theme and personality, from the adventurous Safari Room and festive Christmas Room to the stately Abraham Lincoln Room, elegant Mary Lincoln Room, serene Mississippi Room, and dignified George Washington Room. All the thoughtful little touches made the stay feel cozy and a bit like stepping into a storybook. Breakfast was a highlight. Orlando’s Catering made fresh, flavorful food that was beautifully prepared and served with real hospitality. It felt like a special occasion and a lovely start to the day. This is such a personal, memorable bed-and-breakfast that I was already looking forward to coming back as I left.

There was plenty of space in the airy room, and the house sound system and TV worked well for our PowerPoint. The facility was neat and clean, and there was room for indoor and outdoor activities, which was especially useful with the young children in our group. The food was excellent and replenished quickly as people ate, and staff cleared the plates from the tables. A few people arrived late after the food had been put away, but the staff kindly made plates for them anyway. Our scheduling needs were handled before the anniversary event, our questions were answered, and we never felt rushed. On the day, the staff met our requests and took care of everything in the contract, plus a little extra. They were accommodating and great throughout.

I celebrated my 50th birthday here and stayed in the Washington Room. The room was lovely, and I really liked the home's cozy atmosphere and charm. I live nearby, and this place feels like a hidden gem in St. Louis. It's a great venue for all kinds of parties or gatherings. You have to come stay or visit.

My wife and I had a really nice stay in the Msry Lincoln room, and breakfast was incredible. Everything was so, so clean. It's an awesome little place to stay, and I can see it working really well for family events and get-togethers.

The rooms are small, but cozy, and the place has a lovely ambiance. I had a wonderful one-night stay, with a good home-cooked breakfast in the morning.
