Element Lenox Berkshires

I had a really nice stay in the Berkshires a few months ago. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just what we needed. The pool was a highlight too, and it was in good shape. I spent some time at the bar, where the bartender was great, friendly, and easy to chat with. I’d definitely come back.

The Thursday evening tea and banana bread were a nice surprise, and I loved having access to the fancy espresso and coffee machine all day. The continental breakfast was included and had plenty of choice: pastries, yogurt, bread for the toaster, and self-serve hot trays with fresh scrambled eggs and sausage. The hotel looks beautifully designed, clean, and sleek, and the gym and pool area were lovely. Staff were great, and it was a perfect base for our Berkshire getaway. We knew the hotel had only been open a few months. The one hiccup was the microwave in our room. Something seemed to short-circuit, taking out the microwave and mini fridge; the fridge leaked onto the floor the next morning. It wasn’t a big deal since it was our last night and we had nothing perishable in there.

I was in town briefly for work and wanted to try this new Marriott property. Free breakfast was a bonus. The king bed was comfortable, and the room had filtered water from the sink by the bed, basic dishes and utensils, a good-sized mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The water pressure was amazing, the towels were soft, and the complimentary soaps and lotions smelled nice. I didn’t try the gym, or “motion room,” but my coworker said it was very nice. Hopefully I’ll have time to use the amenities next visit.

A good choice for a longer stay, with a pleasant lobby and saltwater pool. Everyone was really friendly. Just be careful around that water pressure. If I’d been drinking from the toilet when I flushed, I’d be dead. It’s intense, like an airplane toilet. Tell your pets to drink cautiously 😜
