Comfort Inn Levittown

We were out of the room each day before housekeeping started, and apparently they skipped us all week. The bed was a decent king, but at first it had only a top sheet and bed topper, no blanket. When my dog had a small accident, we found the mattress protector and got fresh sheets and a blanket. That was only after the woman at the desk spoke to my partner like a child for letting the dog on the bed. Motel 6 takes pets, which I needed because I had my dog with me, and the pet fee was refunded. The roll-in shower was lovely, though the offered shower stool looked old and scary, so I was glad I brought my own. The motel is on a busy street, so traffic was audible at times. My dog barks, but no one complained.

I loved my stay and will miss my Indian guy who helped me check in. He's a legend, so friendly. The room was really nice for what I paid, with only some old stains on the wall, which didn't bother me. I see all the bad Motel 6 reviews and don't get it. A few people around there looked weird, but otherwise it was a very nice place to stay.

This motel accepts pets, but one employee shrieked whenever she saw my dog. She even told me to go outside so she could enter the side-door office. She apologized and said she'd had bad experiences with dogs. I want her to know help is available for trauma like that. Her reaction was unprofessional, as if we were about to unleash a pack of wild dogs on her, and made us feel like a burden for using the pet policy. It concerned me and scared my pet. Had I known an employee would act this way, I wouldn't have stayed. If you're traveling with a dog, you may want to choose another pet-friendly motel.

We paid for a room over the phone when we booked it, but on arrival they gave us the wrong one. The guy at the desk said there was nothing he could do when we showed him the money had already come out of our account. He told us that was too bad and our problem. Highly unprofessional, wouldn't recommend.
