That birthday note on the door made me feel so celebrated. We also loved the cozy bed, hanging out by the fire pit, and the fun beer soap. Colleen at the desk was warm and made sure we had what we needed. Booking was easy and the price felt very reasonable, and the room was clean, modern, and full of thoughtful touches. Such a memorable overnight getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

The staff are what keep bringing me back. I’ve had some lovely conversations with them, and everyone is kind, welcoming, and accommodating from the minute you arrive. It feels like dropping in on old friends. The inn is cozy and comfortable, with a relaxed charm, and it’s handy for getting around Lewes. I love borrowing a bike for coffee or a ride on the nearby trails. Those small touches and the friendly atmosphere make Dogfish Inn feel special.

We had a blast taking the trail toward rehobeth on bikes, even though we’d never tried e-bikes before. The hotel is close to downtown Lewes, but the street out front stays fairly quiet, and there’s a lovely neighborhood and the water right nearby. The staff were great, and we enjoyed the nightly bonfire in the yard. Such a cute spot for a weekend. We’d love to see it in another season.

The room was so well thought out, with hooks where they’re useful, a counter by the window, and enough room to spread out. I also loved the record player and coffee in the lobby. Everything, from the room and lobby to the grounds, was pristine. The staff were attentive and personable, and the location puts you near the bike trail, downtown, and the beach. We’ve spent years in Rehoboth and often visit Lewes, but this was my first stay at Dogfish. I was there for a weekend with my son, and I’m eager to return.

We’ve had good stays at Dogfish Inn, with friendly service, a lovely bonfire, and an easy location for Lewes restaurants. Dogfish brewery in Milton and restaurant in Rehobeth are close too. My one gripe is the tight timing for a one-night visit: check-in at 4 pm and check-out at 10 am left us feeling rushed, and we had to hurry back from breakfast. Otherwise, a good experience.
