The B&B has a funky, distinctive feel, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well supplied. It's pet friendly, which can be hard to find, and the beach and downtown are both nearby. Rick was very helpful, and Tony cooked us a delicious breakfast. We also enjoyed seeing the two friendly dogs wandering around the property. My husband, our dog, and I visited 10/9-10/11, but had to leave early because of a family issue. We'll definitely come back in spring or summer.

Inside the Blue Water House, it really feels like you've stepped away from everything else. Rick made us comfortable, and the service and amenities were second to none. We highly recommend staying here. Thanks from Tim, Kathy, and our three pugs!

We'd love to come back to the Blue Water House. It's close to the beach and shops in town, and the dining room and kitchen were stocked with extras, giving the place a homey feel. The food was delicious, and our room was clean and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and fascinating, probably the most unique and interesting place we've stayed. Highly recommend.

We could walk or bike to town, the trails, restaurants, historic sites, the bay, and the beach, so the location between downtown Lewes and the beach was ideal. The Blue Water House has a relaxed, welcoming feel, with eclectic Key West-inspired decor and all the amenities we needed. Our room was comfortable, and the porch swing had a lovely view. There were complimentary snacks and drinks available day and night, along with breakfast. It was just the fun but restful vacation we wanted. Rick and Tony made it special, and we'll stay here again.

We spent our time wandering around town and its shops, and the beach was very close, sometimes almost private. The Blue Parrot room was a treat, and the property had something interesting around every corner. Tony and Rick were the friendliest, most accommodating B&B hosts I've met. We're already planning another visit.
