The Cadillac House Lexington, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This is my new favorite place to stay when I’m visiting the blue water area. The staff are wonderful, and the restaurant is really good. The bartenders are super friendly and mix excellent cocktails. The chicken bites were absolutely excellent! I also tried the chicken pot pie egg rolls, which were a special, and they were very, very tasty.

The servers at breakfast and the bar were so warm and personable, and we’ll definitely stay here again for drinks. The building is lovely, and our room had a comfortable bed plus Beekman 1802 bath products. Food was the reason for the four stars, though. We arrived at the bar about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed and were told we could still order, so we got a few appetizers. The asparagus was good and the fries came out hot and crisp, but the four rolls on the bread plate were rock hard, as if they’d been microwaved in a hurry, and the beef tips tasted microwaved too. Breakfast was just okay, with very limited choices. My husband’s scrambled eggs looked like an omelet and were brown and overcooked. We’ll try other restaurants in town next time.

I was here for work in winter, and the place looked beautiful. The staff were professional and helpful, but still made things feel relaxed and cozy. I really enjoyed the stay. I hear summer is amazing, so I may have to come back for a visit.

There was a bathrobe in the room, but no pen and no welcome booklet listing the Inn's amenities, which felt odd. Also, my mistake, but lock in a discounted rate before you stay. Without one, this is the most expensive place to stay in the area.
