Comfort Inn Lexington Virginia Horse Center

It’s an older hotel, and there’s an indoor pool right across from the front desk. The room was clean, the shower was nice, and the beds were fairly comfortable. The shower has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. There was also a hair dryer and iron. Breakfast was decent, with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, bread, juice, and coffee. Overall, a nice experience.

The friendly staff really stood out. They went out of their way to make the stay welcoming. The rooms were impressively clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt like great value for any traveler. High quality, great service, and highly recommended.

The first room’s TV screen wouldn’t turn on, and in the second room I killed a roach, then saw another crawling near the ironing board. The third room was the winner. I checked in after 10p, exhausted from driving all day, and was very upset about having to switch rooms three times. At my request, I asked for a renovated room with all the cracks sealed. The young fellow at the front desk kindly checked the third room to make sure there weren’t any more bugs taking up space. The rest of the stay went well.

Breakfast was a real highlight: hot waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, plus oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, milk, juice, and coffee. Our room was quiet and nice, and having connecting rooms made it easy to go back and forth. The women who checked us in and out were so helpful and pleasant.
