The rooms had plenty of space and were clean, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows weren’t great. Staff were pleasant, and the front lobby displays the hotel’s awards. I called ahead and got a fair rate for the night. One real annoyance: the door closers are so strong that a door slamming shut can sound like an alarm across the whole floor.

I slept well and felt safe here. My first-floor room was beside an entrance, but it was unexpectedly quiet. The bed was comfortable, and I liked having soft and firm pillows to choose from. I’d stay again and recommend it.

The front desk staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Those were the few bright spots. We ended up completely unrested because the building lets in every sound. Even with the fan running for white noise, we were woken at 5 AM by noise from upstairs. I went to the desk after nobody answered the Guest Services phone, and an employee said she’d take care of it. It got quieter around 6, then the noise started again at 7, twice as loud and busy. The lobby has a large “sandwhich board” sign spelling out quiet time from 10 PM to 7 AM, with a one strike rule, which should’ve warned us. I wouldn’t stay here unless I could get a top floor room. Housekeeping also left towels and washcloths for only one person, so I had to go down and ask for more. The construction feels incredibly flimsy, and they didn’t even handle that basic room service properly.

We were in town for a concert, and the hotel was very close to Rupp Arena with lots of places to eat nearby. Parking was free and plentiful. The room was clean, breakfast in the lobby was tasty, and the staff were really friendly.

Everything was clean and well cared for, and the service was great. This is the best hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time, and we’ll definitely come back.
