Holiday Inn Express Jonestown - Ft. Indiantown Gap by IHG

I stayed here on January 2nd, choosing it because it was close to highway 81, and was put on the third floor. The room stayed hot no matter what temperature I set, even 60 degrees, and the elevator was unreliable. It got stuck once when I was heading to dinner. The next morning, at checkout, it wasn't working at all. I had three heavy bags and had to face the stairs from the third floor. When I called the lobby, they confirmed the elevator was broken but offered no help getting my luggage down. The woman on the phone actually hung up on me. With my significant back injuries, that was extremely painful. The hotel is clearly much older, as these problems showed.

The room was comfortable and clean, but Craig, the breakfast guy, was the real highlight of our stay, if I'm remembering his name right. Breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed chatting with him. I travel a lot, and this was one of the best hotel continental breakfasts I've had. If I'm in this area again, I'll definitely stay here.

Easy to get on and off 81, and a great location. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks to the staff at the Holiday Inn Express!!!!! We'll definitely stay again!!!!!

We came to visit Hershey Park, which was a nice drive from the hotel. We travel a lot for basketball and gymnastics and almost always choose a Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean, and we were greeted kindly at check-in. It's a nice, quiet hotel, and the staff always acknowledged us and went above and beyond. I can't say enough good things about them. Highly recommend, and thanks again.
