La Quinta Inn Suites By Wyndham Limon

Breakfast was ready before I headed back on the road, which I appreciated. My room at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Limon was clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything worked as it should, so I slept well. The front desk staff were welcoming even though I arrived late, and check-in was quick and easy. A convenient, comfortable stop that made the drive less stressful.

On our long relocation trip, I called ahead and spoke with Wanda at 6 pm on 5/13/25, the day we booked. The hotel website said our child’s service animal, a cat, would be accepted, and Wanda confirmed it would stay free in a pet-friendly room. At check-in on 5/24/26, Amanda at the front desk questioned whether the animal qualified as a service animal. We explained our five-year-old child’s disability and provided documentation she requested. We later learned the hotel was not allowed to ask for it. The exchange felt confrontational and unwelcoming, and Amanda warned us against leaving the animal alone, implying we might be reported while we were traveling on military PCS orders. After that, we didn’t feel comfortable going to the common areas or pool together as a family. We took turns doing things on our daughter’s birthday instead. I’d also asked if the parking lot was monitored since we had many belongings secured on the roof of our vehicle. Amanda said there was surveillance, but the conversation then left us feeling accused or distrusted instead of reassured. I know one employee may not represent the whole hotel, but this made an already stressful move more uncomfortable for my family. I hope management, including GM Mark Khan, considers more customer service and sensitivity training. Attitude is contagious.

Clean, comfortable beds and bathrooms, a clean room, lovely staff, and good amenities. The hotel is new and in good repair, and there’s no shortage of good things to say. Nothing negative from me. Stay here, you won’t regret it.

Wanda at the front desk greeted me with a smile and was so nice. I was also glad Priceline made sure I didn’t have to pay extra after substituting this motel for the one I’d picked, which no longer took Priceline reservations. What a blessing in disguise, because this place was much nicer and worth paying extra for. My room was lovely, with a meticulously made king bed, a spotless bathroom, and two TVs. The little arrows showing where the light switches were felt thoughtful. I have trouble stepping into a tub, so the big walk-in shower felt like they knew. A grab bar outside the shower would be a helpful addition.
