A flat tire left me stuck in Limon on a Sunday, and I had to wait until Monday to get it patched. The really friendly woman at the front desk let me check in around 9:30 Sunday morning. That was an incredible gesture. If you’re passing through, stay here, and bring the kids.

The hotel is run down. On my first night, which cost $100, there was no TV and the room next door was noisy all night. When I came back, I was promised a considerable discount, but it was only $20. On the second stay, the bathroom light didn’t work and there were bugs in the bed.

Room 113 was clean and in pretty good shape, and it might be alright for an emergency stay. But the air conditioner didn’t work at all. We couldn’t stand the heat, so we left in the middle of the night.

I was in town for a construction job and rented a kitchenette. The room was simple, clean, and comfortable, with no frills or gimmicks, and it didn’t cost much. Restaurants and a grocery store were close by, with three gas stations within a mile. I’ll stay here again when I’m working in the area.
