The ocean view was beautiful, and it was easy to order food from outside the hotel and have it delivered. My room was clean, had a private indoor hot tub, and a space heater that kept me warm all night. Neither my room nor the neighbors around me smelled of smoke. The main drawback was having to walk down a lot of stairs just to reach the first-floor room, so this could be difficult if you aren’t in shape. I also had to figure out the hot tub on my own, and instructions would’ve helped. It was an interesting stay, and I look forward to coming back.

Waking up here was phenomenal. The room was quiet, and we couldn’t hear anyone stomping, yelling, screaming, or banging around. We had beach access down some stairs. Young children aren’t allowed, which worked well for us since we left the kids at home for adult time. When Mom and Dad need another getaway, I’ll definitely pick this place again. It was absolutely amazing. We came on November 7th 2025. We first checked in at the starfish manor, I’m assuming because of construction at the BeachFront Manor, then stayed on the second floor at the BeachFront. There are lots of stairs on the way down. The hallways and stairs could use a little housekeeping, though king tides and wind probably didn’t help. Our room was clean, with no unpleasant or overly chemical smells. It was pretty basic, with no phone, so keep your own phone handy if you need the front desk. The bed was clean, the pillows comfy, and two robes were provided for the hot tub. The deck hot tub was clean and hot when we arrived. The new patio chairs are so comfy, you’ll want to bring a cozy blanket and stay awhile. I think the back patios could use dimmable mood lighting at night. There was a box fan, thank you, and a small extra heater for the bathroom. Maintenance could take the fans apart for a more thorough cleaning when possible, since ours was dusty. The fireplace heater would only stay lit for about 30 seconds, even when we turned it up to 75 degrees. The room stayed around 69 to 71 degrees no matter how it was set. It wasn’t a big deal, but it would’ve been nice if the fireplace itself worked. I’d also add a full-length mirror and a few more hooks for jackets and robes.

Beachfront Manor is our new home away from home. We’ve already booked another stay. The Beach king on the second floor has a balcony hot tub, and it didn’t disappoint. The room was clean, beautiful, and comfortable, with nice modern finishes. The robes laid out on the bed were a great touch. I’m a clean freak, and even my new bright white socks stayed bright white after walking out on the balcony. The location is amazing, right on the beach, as close as you can get. There’s a small staircase down to the sand and a foot-washing station for when you come back.

The view was the only good part. It was clean, but absolutely not worth $360. Motel 6 could do this well. We booked online after seeing pictures of a room with a hot tub on the deck. We badly needed a break, so we went ahead, only to find there was no deck hot tub, just a jacuzzi in the room. We thought at least there’d be a fireplace and a nice ocean view. The view was nice, but the gas fireplace was the only heat source, and we were freezing as I wrote this, with no extra blankets. Not all the jacuzzi jets worked, we ran out of hot water, and the shower door wouldn’t stay closed, so we had to block it to shower. Very disappointing after spending so much and hoping to relax and enjoy our time.

Cheyenne was helpful and cleaned the bathroom herself, and offered us a discount. The nighttime desk clerk who handled our refund was helpful too. The daytime desk clerk seemed rude and didn’t want to be bothered. We were told this was due to new management changes, but there’s no excuse for that level of uncleanliness. We arrived for our honeymoon and initially thought the room looked clean. Then we found a dirty shower and boxers draped over the shower door. Looking more closely, it seemed the room hadn’t been cleaned at all, unless maybe the sheets had been changed. Three press-on nails were scattered on the carpet, with crumbs, a toothpick beside the bedframe, and a toenail or fingernail on the carpet by the bed. Disgusting. My new wife was in tears. After five trips to the lobby over the two or so hours we were there, we finally got a full refund, to be paid in five to seven business days. We had to leave and find another hotel for the next few nights. I’ve never had an experience like it, and I highly do not recommend staying here.
