My best friend rented this for my birthday, just one night. I’ve always wanted to look for the glass balls floats this area has. The door wasn’t even shut when we arrived, so I pushed it open with my foot as she read the instructions. At first the place seemed cute, but then things got weird. After we came back from the beach, the untouched kitchen sink was full of suds. My friend’s window was open even though we hadn’t opened it. There was a door right next to my bed, and when we checked where it led, it opened onto the stairs connecting the units above and below. Not comfortable. We tried to relax and play a game, but the kitchen sink started spitting out more and more bubbles all over the floor and counter. Once we finally sat down to chill, the knob on the door beside my bed began rattling and shaking. What should’ve been a relaxing birthday stay was extremely stressful. My friend is awesome, but this place wasn’t worth the price. I really hope she gets her money back!

My wife whisked me away for an overnight break in this beautiful penthouse. As soon as we walked in, I wished we’d booked a week or more. We brought provisions and had everything we needed to prepare meals and drinks. Natural light comes in from all sides and above, and the master bedroom has a jetted tub. There’s also a fireplace and a spacious balcony with a hot tub overlooking the Pacific. It’d take a long time to tire of that view or all the comforts around us. I hope we can return, and I definitely recommend it.

The room was very nice, but I wouldn’t have booked it if I’d known about the three flights of very rustic stairs. We were meant to stay four nights and left after one. I only found out about the stairs after booking with a no-cancellation policy, so we tried it, but carrying our luggage up was too much and it just wasn’t going to work. Their online descriptions should make the stairs clear, especially for older people like us. Maybe this review will help someone find a room that suits them better.
