Economy Lodge and Suites Lincoln

This is the worst place to stay in Lincoln Nebraska. There are roaches and broken bed frames, and they blame the guests for the broken frames. They found crack pipes under the mattress, then basically said it was my fault and called the cops to report it. An older, heavy maintenance man unlocked my door while I was inside, but luckily I had the chain on. He wasn't even maintenance, he was housekeeping, and he asked if my room had a smoke detector. He said someone had stolen the battery and he'd bring another one soon. He never did. This place is a joke.

I left my Bluetooth headset behind and called to ask them to mail it to my home. Five months later, the manager still refuses to send it. The lower manager has tried to get her to send it, but nothing has happened. That manager said the package is no longer at the front desk, yet it was never mailed. I can't speak to the pipes or bed bugs, but I can say this manager is a very poor choice to run the place.

Don't stay at this motel. There are drug addicts, bed bugs, roaches, shady people wandering around, constant drama, and police. Housekeeping is a joke, the sheets don't get changed, and maintenance staff just stand around. In winter, the pipes freeze and burst, so good luck having running water. It's dangerous.

The room had wet carpet and a dripping noise coming from the wall, and there wasn't a microwave. The Wi-Fi was mostly down. I got at least four bites from something in the bed. I didn't see what it was, but I had to de-bedbug my personal blanket after it touched their bed.
