Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lincoln Southeast

We booked three rooms and arrived just after noon, but none were ready. They said the hotel had sold out the night before, even though the parking lot was completely empty. Our rooms finally opened up later. One smelled like an old hair salon after a perm, and another had an HVAC problem they couldn't fix. When we came back after dinner, the lot was maybe 15% full, but they still said they were sold out when we asked to switch rooms. The walls are paper thin. We could hear people yelling conversations through them, along with guests walking the halls, using their rooms, and watching TV. The laundry was a mixed bag too: the machines were handy and reasonably priced, but one dryer was broken and the washers smelled really musty. There are a lot of excuses here and not much help when something goes wrong. Look elsewhere. And management, please don't reply with an AI generated string of platitudes that solves nothing.

Really good hotel, but the lobby air freshener on the main floor was so strong I had to use my inhaler. They should dial it back and it'll be fine.

There are plenty of quick places to eat close by, and this was a nice spot to sleep before heading into another day. My room was clean and organized, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was decent. The person at the desk was polite, professional, and quick to help.

Super quick check-in, a filling breakfast, and a walk-in shower were big pluses for me. The room was clean and had a microwave, fridge, and coffee. I loved staying here and would definitely recommend it.
