Lincolnville Motel

Alice made us feel very welcome at the Lincolnville Motel. We stayed in a quaint, charming cabin, and the sunrise through the window was spectacular. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The pool was clean, though pretty chilly, and the whole place felt inviting. We spent two nights in Cabin 8, which was super clean and just a fun place to stay. The owner was awesome, and the morning coffee was delicious. Getting into town took a little longer because the road was under construction while we were there.

We only had one night in the cabin on our way to Bar Harbor, and wished we could have stayed longer. Alice and her dog Sally were lovely to meet, and there was great coffee early in the morning in the common room. The cabin was very clean and had its own style. We had fun looking through the 33's, picking some we liked, and playing them on the in-room record player. The bathroom felt a little too cozy, but the bed was VERY comfortable. I’d like to come back when it’s warmer and use the pool.

We had such a comfortable, clean stay, and the owner clearly takes wonderful care of the place and its little details. Our cottage had a blue door and a beautiful view of the water. The rooms have turntables and albums that brought back a lot of memories, while the common area has a fun artsy feel, with mixed-fabric pillows, a globe collection, and cookbooks arranged by color. One morning there were about four giant floating animals in the pool. The owner has a great eye for style. I can’t wait to come back!
