The night itself was quiet, but getting to that point was a mess. We had a reservation and came back two days later. The manager had shown us a nice room earlier, then said we were getting a different one with a bigger bathroom that still needed cleaning. It was 4 pm, which I understood, but the room wasn't ready at 5 or 6 either. When I asked, the manager got rude and told me to stop rushing him. He was friendly again when my fiance spoke to him. In the morning there was no hot water. The manager came to fix it, and was rude to me but nice to my fiance, so I told my fiance to handle it. Then we found the towels were filthy and hadn't been washed. When we asked for replacements, he said housekeeping would bring them. After that, we saw the biggest cockroach ever and asked for a refund. Worst possible place, 0 out of 10, do not recommend.

The staff were friendly and respectful, and the new management seems to be trying to improve the place. Rates are cheap, but there's a lot of work to do. While I was there, I saw them replacing mattresses with old, used ones that looked only slightly better than those they were taking out. My room was messy, had roaches, and was missing the inside doorknob, among many other problems. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Ay mates, watch out, the crazies here might bite chya! The managers are really good people, considering what they have to put up with. I'll mind my ps and qs on this one. Unless you're really in need of somewhere to stay, every other hotel is full, and you actually get one of their new rooms, I don't highly recommend it.

What a turnaround. The motel is quiet, guests are respectful, prices are affordable, and pets are welcome. The rooms are clean, remodeled, and decorated. I was worried it might be loud or busy, but the newer owners clearly care, treat people fairly, and it shows in how they run the place. Glad we tried it here, and I'll definitely be back.

It didn't feel right, so we all decided not to stay. The place wasn't very clean or well kept, and it could definitely use an exterminator and on-site security.
