They first quoted us $90, even though Google Maps showed a much lower price, then dropped it to $70. There was no breakfast, despite Google Maps listing it as free. The beds each had just one dirty, cheap pillow, and there wasn’t a trash can in the room. Outside, people were loud and honking horns at 1:30 in the morning. We left dissatisfied.

I didn’t stay at all. After I learned I’d still be charged if I canceled, I went to a friend’s place, though she couldn’t fit all of us. My children and I don’t own an Xbox, whatever the motel’s reply may say. The only reason someone stayed beyond the reservation was that another room wasn’t available on short notice. The room we were given had a broken TV, no blankets, and a bathroom door hanging off. When I reported it, the staff member had a major attitude. She switched rooms and said she couldn’t switch it again, as though the condition of the place were my fault. I’ve had one or two problems before, but nothing like this. This privately owned motel doesn’t meet the quality I expect from Choice Hotels. Give me my money back. Motel 6 left the light on for us. This place isn’t worth a dime. The hotel should clean and check rooms before renting them so guests aren’t moved around and leaving bad reviews. Check your stars.

It didn’t feel safe, even with our cars parked right outside the room. There were spiders on the ceiling and one of the beds, plus several flies in the bathroom. Something was splattered on the wall behind the door. From a distance it looked like blood, though I can’t say what it really was. The room was terrible and gave off a generally unsettling feeling.

I booked here because there weren’t many options at the time, but the room didn’t seem to have been cleaned properly. There was no soap or towels, though luckily I brought my own. Sleep was difficult because of the noise outside. A loud car came through the lot repeatedly around 3-4 a.m., doing burnouts and donuts right by my room. I wasn’t happy with the stay.
