Cobblestone Hotel & Suites-Little Chute

Parking was easy, and the location let me get back on the road without detours. After a long travel day, I appreciated how quiet and calm the hotel felt. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, so both check-in and checkout were quick. My room was clean and set up nicely for a restful night, with a comfortable bed and a warm, inviting feel. The linens and bathroom were well maintained, and the water pressure was good. The lobby was cozy too. It was a pleasant, dependable stay at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites in Little Chute, with professional service and a peaceful atmosphere.

I spend more than 140 nights a year in hotels, and I was surprised by how much I liked this one. For the price, the value is outstanding. Cobblestone holds its own against bigger luxury chains like Hilton or Marriott, and in several ways does even better. The rooms were very clean, quiet, and comfortable, while the lobby felt premium and the design was consistent throughout. Everything seemed well maintained. The double door in front of the first-floor elevator was an unexpected, funny little detail, but no real issue. This place is a hidden gem and deserves a higher rating.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and nice, and the staff were friendly. But I was very disappointed by the advertised hot breakfast. It's served from 6 to 9 a.m., yet the hot food was gone a little before 8 and they said they couldn't make more because the early shift handles it. If breakfast is advertised until 9, someone should keep the hot items stocked through then. I'm GF, so I rely on things like eggs, meat, and potatoes and can't have the breads, muffins, bagels, or cereal. That left me especially frustrated.

My room had a used washcloth on the bathroom sink, a big stain on the sheets, and a TV that kept freezing and barely worked. Before that, I struggled just to check in: the desk note said to pick up the phone for help, but it rang and rang twice with no answer. I searched around for staff and eventually someone came out of a nearby room. She didn't apologize for the wait, and her dry manner felt unwelcoming. Outside, a Little Caesars refrigeration truck sat running its diesel engine, so even a quiet night wasn't in the cards. This is the worst hotel experience I've had. I can't wait to find out what breakfast will bring. I also added a photo of the puddle they call a pool, I've been in bigger hot tubs.
