A quiet property with a spacious, exceptionally clean room, just right for resting and relaxing. The continental breakfast was a nice extra, with fresh bread and good coffee. For the price, I’d call it a 10 out of 10. It’s around a seven-minute drive from Mendocino, but you could also stay in, sit on the deck with an ocean view, read, disconnect from routine, and get away from the city. I was pleasantly surprised that every room faces the sea; I’d assumed only some would, considering the price. They allow pets, too. P.S. The owners are one of the sweetest couples I’ve met!

The porch view is amazing, and I could sit there all day. The room was clean, spacious, and beautiful, the service was amazing, and it’s close to all the attractions. Such a pet-friendly place. I love it, and I’ve already planned another stay with my family. One of the best places I’ve stayed. Highly recommend!

Every room looks out at the ocean and has a little porch that’s lovely for sitting outside and taking it all in. Inside, our room was spotless, cozy, and beautifully put together, with a look somewhere between a log cabin and a beach house. The owners, Heidi and Dan, gave our two small dogs the warmest welcome and a very sweet care package. It was nice seeing other dogs around too. The whole place has a relaxed, easygoing feel. Breakfast at the office comes with towering Mendocino trees and lush forest as the view, the perfect opposite to the ocean. It feels beautiful in every direction. We could eat by the fire pit, in the office, or take breakfast back to our room. Heidi bakes fresh treats and leaves them out with coffee and tea during the day, a really cute free snack. With all the thoughtful extras and the price, it’s hard to beat. We’re already talking about coming back next year with more family.

After a long day and drive, manager Heidi’s kindness and patience were a huge relief. The ocean views are breathtaking, and both the room and property were immaculate and stunning. I’m already planning many more trips and can’t wait to stay again.

I had a lovely stay. The view from my room was stunning, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Everything was spotless. I especially enjoyed the continental breakfast, with the croissants as the highlight.
