Joy is a big reason I keep coming back. She’s sweet, honest, and hardworking, and during my stay she always seems to find me and help with little things. She makes the place feel welcoming, almost like family. I stay here once a year for work and am always satisfied. The rooms are clean, and the location can’t be beat.

The room was quiet and dark, which let us sleep before finishing the other ten hours of our trip. The gentleman at check-in gave us two vouchers for what he called an elite breakfast buffet, but it turned out to be a free breakfast plate at the on-site bar’s restaurant. We’d been told when booking that dinner was served at a full-service restaurant with nightly specials. Once there, we found only simple pub food, like bone-in wings, burgers, and fries. There was still hair in the shower, apparently from a previous stay. The sheets were clean, though they had a strong bleach smell.

The price was great, and I haven’t slept this well in a long time. The rooms felt a bit dated, but they were very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay, and the staff were top notch. They even texted to ask if we needed anything. A must stay if you’re in downtown Little Rock.

The neighborhood was old and easy to walk around, and my dogs and I enjoyed looking at the houses. There’s a park with a dog park area just one block away. For under $100 a night, I was really happy with the room and the front desk staff. The room was clean, and the bedding was comfortable, with big soft pillows and bottom sheets that stayed put even when I moved around. There’s no breakfast, which was a bummer. The underground parking lot badly needs a power wash and smelled awful by the trash bin. On the first evening, the housekeepers yelled back and forth to each other from five rooms away, which felt inconsiderate and unprofessional. I might take off a star for those things, but I wanted other people to know it’s a great choice at that price.
