Hilton Garden Inn New Braunfels

The breakfast was the best food selection and presentation I've had at a Hilton property in years. The chef made a delicious omelet, and they even had cinnamon by the oatmeal. Kyla, my waitress, gave outstanding service, and she deserves a raise. Rosa at the front desk was kind, cheerful, and attentive too. Housekeeping had already left, but she vacuumed my room and brought fresh towels. This is a hospitality model for Hilton properties. Colossians 3:23-25

The workers were amazing, the best I've seen in a while. I travel for work and personal reasons every month, so that's based on plenty of hotel stays. But the room itself needs improvement. I could hear people stomping and running overhead all night, and the sheets, fields, and floor were dirty. The TVs were outdated too. You're paying for the convenient location more than the hotel's value. I'd stay again if the price was right, though after this experience I'd probably look elsewhere.

The rooms look recently remodeled and were nice and clean. The location is good, near the highway and stores. Breakfast was just okay, with cold eggs and not many choices, though it was solid enough. I paid for the buffet, but I'd recommend getting food nearby instead. The breakfast staff were really friendly and helpful, A++. Some front desk agents were nice too, but the woman working the night of 12.20 wasn't very nice or helpful when I asked about amenities and breakfast.

There's plenty of free parking, and the rooms feel fairly new or refreshed. The bathroom fixtures didn't work very well, though, and water got past the shower door and flooded the floor. The TV uses digital terrestrial reception, so a lot of usual channels are missing, and many of the ones listed came in poorly.
