Courtyard by Marriott Atlanta McDonough

After a long drive from Wisconsin, this was a very nice place to stay. Staff were kind and helpful, and check-in was one of the quickest I can remember. Our room had a king bed and sofa bed; my daughter used the sofa bed, which made things feel a little cramped, but it was fine for one night. The room was clean, had no odd smells, and was quiet, with a comfortable bed. We didn’t get to use it, but the patio looked great, with a nice set, gas fire pit, and chairs for relaxing by the fire. I’d definitely stay again and recommend it.

The food made my visit to the Courtyard Marriott especially great. Later that night I tried the chicken alfredo nachos, and they were insanely delicious. Breakfast was honestly the best I’ve ever had. CHEF JEROME made sure everything was fresh and tasty. I’ll definitely be back!

The lady at the bistro greeted me right away, and our food came out promptly. My kids and I really enjoyed breakfast, everything was delicious. I didn’t get to thank the chef, but it was one of the best breakfast meals I’ve had in a long time. I’d definitely return.

Eric at the front desk went out of his way to hold onto our daughter’s favorite stuffed bear after she accidentally left it in the room. We picked it up on our way back through, and his kindness meant a lot to our family. The pool was a hit with the kids after a long drive, and dinner and drinks at The Bistro made things easy and enjoyable. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Even with our late arrival, staff welcomed us warmly. The lobby and room were spotless and well kept, and we felt comfortable right away. This Marriott was just what we needed as a stopover. We’ll stay here again and recommend it to families looking for a clean, comfortable place with great service.
