The Cabernet was the best I’ve had in quite a while, and sharing the French dip and delicious potatoes with my wife was a highlight. The staff were attentive and really friendly. We were there for a celebration of life and wandered around the beautiful grounds; the friendly parrots were fun to see, and the spa felt lively and uplifting. There was some road noise, but the setting made up for it. We didn’t get to see the rooms this time, though we’ll stay here on our next trip through.

We had such a good weekend getaway here. My husband loved the room and didn’t want to leave. The hotel is beautiful, the front desk and housekeeping were helpful, and the bakery’s chocolate croissant was so good 😋 We’ll definitely come back!

We were here for my comadre’s surprise birthday and retirement party, not to stay overnight. The venue looked beautiful and was nicely decorated. Everything was well organized, with a bar, coffee and tea, hors d’oeuvres, and a delicious meal. A Filipino baker also provided dessert.

The only rough moment came before our visit, when a front desk employee sounded annoyed and dismissive as I asked questions about room types to make the right choice. Once we arrived, everyone was so nice, and I was glad she wasn’t the person checking us in. The rooms were clean, the grounds were lovely, and there were exotic birds among the lush landscaping. Housekeeping and maintenance were friendly, and the pool, gym, cafe, and wine tasting room were all great. I’d recommend this hidden gem.

We asked the front desk for an extra item and had it brought to our room within 15 minutes. That kind of quick, thoughtful service made a real difference. Our junior suite was spotless, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The grounds were inviting, and we enjoyed the pool and clean fitness center. It was an easy, comfortable visit, and we’d gladly stay at Wine & Roses Hotel and Spa again when we’re in Lodi.
