Home2 Suites by Hilton Logansport

My room was huge and very nice. The parking situation was the one problem: the small lot out front was full, so in the pouring rain I parked behind the hotel and had to walk all the way around with my things. There’s no way into the lobby from the back. If guests have to park back there, they should be able to get into the hotel without going around the whole building.

The breakfast had really good options, the service was good, and the location worked well, with a Walmart and shopping plaza within walking distance. We stayed for two nights. We arrived around 11:00 am and were told we’d have to wait because the staff was cleaning our room, so we went to take care of other things. But the room wasn’t clean when we got in. There were french fries on the floor beside one of the beds, and the bedsheets smelled dirty. The room itself was just okay.

We stayed at the La Quinta Inn in Kokomo, Indiana in April 2024, while a family member was at Howard Community Hospital. The staff and general manager were outstanding, and the property was very clean. They were also very accommodating of my spouse, who uses a wheelchair. The stay exceeded our expectations.

The staff were friendly and courteous, and even took care of a special request. I’m very grateful for their hospitality. I was also really impressed by the quality of the food and coffee. It was a fantastic stay.
