Garner Hotel Londonderry - Manchester by IHG

The room service did a very good job cleaning when I requested it, and I was happy with their work. I usually consider leaving a cash tip. I’m not sure rooms are cleaned daily, so I had to ask for service to make sure it happened every couple of days. I’ve had a nice stay so far and will be here for a week, so we’ll see if anything changes. Breakfast was nice, and Nancy was especially sweet and accommodating. She made sure I was fed and looked after as a construction worker, and we had a polite, interesting conversation. She deserves a raise and promotion. Check-in was easy, though the desk manager asked for quite a bit of information, including my license plate and everyone staying in the room, which seemed formal and safety-conscious. I got a first-floor king room, which I believe is the case for most first-floor rooms, and mine had a door connecting to the next-door neighbor. The room is very big, and people around here are nice. I even chatted with a friendly couple with a terrier-type dog who let me pet it. The hotel sits behind the main road and can be a little hard to spot, but with an up-to-date GPS and phone, you should be fine.

Coffee and tea were available all night, the fall decorations were nice, and the room was clean. The hotel was convenient for a wedding I attended down the street. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was okay. The shower in my room was a stand-up style, with warm to hot water and good pressure, though the shower and bathroom were small. I’m not sure whether every room has a stand-up shower. The rooms themselves are small, doors slam when people leave, and the walls are thin enough that you hear everything. I stayed two nights and needed to sleep with the TV on the second night. The front desk staff weren’t friendly. It was an okay stay and I might come back, but not with children. There’s a Subway and cigar bar within walking distance.

Marisa and the staff were so welcoming and helpful, and we’re definitely coming back. Our room, vanity, and shower room were impressively clean and orderly, with plenty of space to move around. Breakfast was a full meal: fresh organic eggs, sausages, bagels, cereal, fresh fruit, muffins, and freshly brewed coffee. Garner Hotel, Londonderry, NH was the highlight of our New England vacation for the three of us. Thank you for your hospitality!

Super clean and quiet, with soft pillows, Wi-Fi, and a TV. I got the king bed and it was almost heaven. I liked the Dove products in the room too. Sadly, I left before breakfast. Definitely worth a night!
