Allegria Hotel

The view of the beach was heartbreakingly gorgeous, and the restaurant hit the spot. Someone made me a perfect martini, followed by exactly the hamburger I needed. My room was comfortable and clean, with good pillows and fluffy towels. The hotel is pet-friendly, and it’s on my short list of places to return to for a week or two of peace and relaxation. When I arrived exhausted from traveling, Sharon and Marshal at the front desk made me feel at home. They were friendly, helpful, and knew the hotel and local services well. Everyone else I met who works here was just as fabulous. Thank you!

The hotel has great views, beach access, a good location, and it’s only 15 minutes from JFK. The rooms were clean and accommodating, and the restaurant food and bar were really good. Sharon at the front desk was great, and Lauren was a friendly server at the bar. I arrived at noon but had to wait until 3pm to check in; the hotel held my bags. I didn’t actually check in until 2am, and the front desk representative then was horrible. I understand it was the graveyard shift, but customer service should still be there at any hour. I had a great time overall and will most likely be back. Allegria is the only hotel in the Long Beach area, so it’s good to know the food, service, and cleanliness are reliable.

Sharon at the front desk was especially helpful, including when I spoke with her by phone. I’d booked through Expedia, and at check-in we saw that the room I chose didn’t match what the hotel system showed. She stepped in right away, made sure I got the correct room, and offered a better view if one was available. She clearly explained the check-in details and fees, and made sure I wasn’t overcharged, especially since I didn’t need access to the room right away. I appreciated her honesty and transparency. The manager, I believe, was also at the desk and jumped in to get me the information I needed promptly, while Sharon kept up with her other responsibilities. Their teamwork, professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care left a lasting impression. I was truly impressed by the hospitality and integrity. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend Allegria Hotel for great service and a stress-free experience.

The food at Atlantica Restaurant in the hotel was spectacular, as always, for our Valentine’s day dinner. Patrick took fantastic care of us, and manager Jeff went out of his way to make the experience second to none. He was a great person to talk with, and it’s clear he really cares about everyone who takes the time to dine there. I’ll definitely become a regular and suggest you do the same!
